6. Data Access Logging
Observability of data transactions is a key aspect of Data Exchange. It ensures that data transactions can be monitored so that ecosystems work in compliance with shared values, enhancing trust among participants. Data Access Logging ensures that data transactions can be logged throughout their lifecycle, providing an audit trail for accountability, compliance and dispute resolution.
It provides transparency, helping participants and regulators ensure data usage aligns with policies, and contractual agreements.
Details specifications of Data Access Logging will be provided in the next version of this document, and will align with requirements defined in the context of the CEN/CENELEC Workshop on Trusted Data Transactions.
