10. Self-Declaration of Conformity

To achieve the level of Basic Conformity for a service offering the service provider shall declare that all requirements set out in the scheme are fulfilled by providing a signed binding self-declaration of conformity (SDoC) based on a self-assessment after having carried out an internal audit regarding the service offering.

The SDoC follows the general requirements for first-party attestations of ISO/IEC 17050-1:2004.

By issuing such a statement, the service provider shall assume responsibility for the conformity of the service offering with the requirements set out in that scheme.

Means for the provision of the self-declaration of conformity in a machine-readable way will be available.
